IT Power Platform Engineer
POSITION PURPOSE
The IT Power Platform Engineer will have in-depth experience with the Microsoft 365 Power Platform and supporting the Microsoft ecosystem. This position will foster collaboration and process alignment between development and other supporting operations teams, (HR, Marketing, Engagement, Operations, etc.). This position focuses on process improvement and will deliver the following solutions for supporting departments such as: automate mundane day to day tasks, create approval workflows, deliver a chat bot to improve knowledge transfer within the organization, or create visual dashboards to measure success within the organization and within the various departments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ORGANIZATION
This position reports to the IT Principal Architect.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
MACHINES & EQUIPMENT
The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as a copier.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The incumbent works in a remote environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required. Periodic times working at the office site may be required.
Security and privacy training will be provided as part of this role to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PCS’ associate and customer data.

ORGANIZATION
This position reports to the IT Principal Architect.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Build and maintain Model-driven Applications on Microsoft Power Platform.
- Build and maintain Microsoft Dataverse entities.
- Build and maintain Power Automate Flows.
- Maintaining Power Platform and Power BI environments across the Organization, in alignment with security best practices and procedures.
- Working closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Hands-on technical expertise in automation, integration, and deployment (DevOps).
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports for data visualization using Power BI to provide business actionable insights.
- Manage data integration, migration, and connectivity using connectors and APIs.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (Dynamics 365, Azure) and third-party applications.
- Nice to have: Experience with IT security, compliance, and risk management, including privacy and controls.
- Nice to have: Experience with developing custom components through code.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of Microsoft 365 experience, including 2 years of Power Platform experience: Administration of Enterprise Environments.
- Experience developing canvas- and model-based PowerApps and integrating these PowerApps with external data sources.
- Strong knowledge in at least three of the following: Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra, including user/group security and RBAC.
- Solid understanding of database structures (Dataverse), including column security, formula columns, table design,
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or similar a strong plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to communicate both orally and written.
- Personal traits of a high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty and integrity, and a demonstration of placing others in a place of high value.
- Must be a U.S. citizen; work sponsorship is not available.
